volcano 1/10 losing power, then dies
I'm a newbie to RC. Trying to get figure out the issue with my son's redcat volcano 1/10 brushed engine truck. It starts fine, runs hard, then in about 30 sec-1 min, starts to lose power, then dies. The right light then stays flashing on the ESC. Please advise. Thanks in advance!!

What ESC is it?
What batteries are you using?
If you are using NiMh battery, look on ESC to make sure the "jumper" is in the correct NiMh position. If you try and use a NiMh battery, and the ESC is set for LiPo battery, then the power sag from the NiMh battery will trip the Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC). The LVC setting is used to protect LiPo batteries from being over discharged.
I am pretty sure the red LED flashing is the LVC being tripped.

Possible time for a new motor? The brushes inside do wear out over time and will not make good contact on the commutator. Closed endbell motors like the one in your monster truck can't be worked on.
If red light is flashing, possible meaning = LVC or OHP
