Default Brushless motor spec comparison...

I have a Traxxas VXL-3s Velineon esc and Traxxas 3500kv brushless motor set (blue). I want another brushless esc/motor combo that is comparable in performance but want to spend as little as possible. I saw these "GoolRC" brand 3650 3500KV Brushless Motor /60A ESC sets on ebay for around $40. I do not have any additional information on the Traxxas motor, it is the one that comes as default with the VXL-3s in the Stampede 1:10. I see a huge difference in amperage but honestly do not understand how this applies to speed/torque/performance. The specs are listed below. My question is If I put these motor/esc sets in two separate, identical Stampede's, will each truck be roughly the same in performance (for backyard bashing purposes)?
Thanks!

The specs on the VXL are:
-----------------------------------
Continuous current.....200A
Peak current......... 320A

The specs on the GoolRC 3650 are:
-----------------------------------------------------
Continue current: 60A ESC
Burst current: 320A ESC
Battery: 2-3S Li-Po / 4-9S Ni-Mh Ni-Cd
BEC output: 5.8V / 3A ESC
Watts: 900W motor
Max voltage: <15V motor
Max Amps: 62A motor
KV(RPM/Volt): 3500KV motor
Max RPM: 50000 motor
