I think that buying a computer radio is a much better choice these days. Since computer radios have multiple mode memories you can fly more than one plane per transmitter. Each model can be setup very differently, including the modulation PPM vs. PCM.

I think the best choice of the ones you have listed is the T6XA Super. It is more capable than the lower cost T6EXA... The SkySport is is not a computer radio so I would not recommend it... If you don't want a computer radio then it is a good choice...

If spending $270ish dollars is within your budget then get the new Futaba 9C transmitter. It will be the last radio you'll buy until you want/need the 9Z... Another good choice is the Futaba 8U Super. It was replaced by the 9C, but new and good used ones are available. These radios have infinite model memories as you can add additional memory locations with inexpensive CAMPac modules. Each module contains 7 memory locations for the 9C, and 8 for the 8U series, and they can be easily swapped in and out of the transmitter as needed. They are solid state and do not need a battery to maintain the programming. I buy mine on e b a y for around $7.00 each...

You'll be much happier with a computer radio. I flew the 6xas for about 14 months. I liked everything about it except:
1. Only two programmable mixes, both controlled by the same switch
2. Numeric rather than Alpha model naming
3. Mechanical trims

On the Plus side, it never gave me any problems, it has a good selection of built-in mixes, and it is very easy to program.

I still have it and still fly it in my funfly and electric planes. It was perfectly adequate for my 25% Cap. Once I went to 33% I wanted more channels to avoid using Y-harnesses. Just my personal preferance, many do fly big planes on 6 channels.

Finally, I totally agree with Galen about the 9C.
