Question Spektrum AR636 Help Request

Hi I am wondering if anyone has encountered this on the Spektrum AR636 receiver;
I programmed all the surfaces using the app but in testing the output responses I am successfully able to get the elevator to go up when I nose it down, left aileron to go up when I rotate to the right, but when I yaw the aircraft to either way the rudder deflects in the same direction. The rudders servo direction is correct with normal control inputs (breaks to right with right input and vise versa). The receiver mounting orientation matches the app. I have researched a lot and not found anything on the web about this. I would appreciate anyone sharing their setup verification on this.

Hi
There are 23 tutorials on YouTube for the AS3X set up . . .

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...RshoLuMZKu_Gi1

The rudder set up is in there - including reversing.

Remember, with AS3X you don't make adjustments to the control surfaces in the the TX; only in the RX via the App.

Cheers

Thanks I appreciate the quick response, I’m going to start all over again and see if I can’t get the right results this time. What is puzzling is that out of the three axis yaw is the only one correcting the wrong way even though all stick outputs are deflecting correctly.

That's the thing.

The AX3S works on the receiver via the App, so it could be different from the TX.

It took me a while to get my head around it.

Well it looks like I was successful with this last attempt, all I ca think of is that I must have tampered with one of the main control surfaces through the TX rather than the app. Going flying this weekend so we’ll see how the gyro does. Had them in heli’s but this my first experience with one in a fixed wing.
