Default RC Exl elect. throttle kill switch and FrSky throttle fail safe function.

I recently installed an RC Exl elect. Throttle kill switch in my gas model using the Gear Ch #5 in my Fut 8UAF Tx and also in my FrSky non telemetry 8 ch. Rx. The kill switch works great but now the Throttle does not respond to the low throttle fail safe setting as it used to before the elect. kill switch was installed. Is it that I have connected something wrong or is it that the both systems cannot work together.

What do you mean it doesn't respond?

If installed and fail safed properly the rcxl will shut down when it loses signal

Before I installed the RC Exl kill switch all channels eg. Aileron, Elevator, Throttle and Rudder responded to pre set fail safe settings with a loss of signal to the Rx, but since installing the kill switch the throttle does not respond, meaning it says at it's last command position while all other control surfaces go to fail safe.

Fascinating. The kill doesn't have anything to do with the throttle channel per-se, its just an electronic switch activated by the channel sweep on the aux channel its plugged into.

I wonder if you did something to your fail safe inadvertently?

On a hunch I did a re-bind of the Rx and reset the failsafe and all channels are now responding as they should. Guess I inadvertently screwed something up for real.
