Default Advice on spektrum rx for glider

Hi

Been out of the gliding hobby for a while, what would be the best choice of 2.4G receiver for a thermal soaring glider?

I have a DX8 and the glider has a carbon weave fuselage, been looking at the AR610 6ch it has a single long antenna which could be positioned outside the fuselage and a shorter one which because of the carbon probably wouldn't receive much. Would this be a good choice or are there better options?

thanks

The AR636 is just a smidgen bigger, but it also includes a remote receiver port. That would be good. Or the AR6600T - same size, remote usable.

The new SPM9746 remote receiver would be the one to use with it.
