Default Spektrum a5040 servos

i bought a set of a5040 spektrum servos for a goldberg ultimate bipe . i want to drive two ailerons per side. GB want to use one in the center with belcranks... no way. i have read a lot of negative feedback on these servos after i bought them. i was wondering what owners thought of them. give me the good, bad and ugly. For openers, those are mini servos and physically smaller than the servo cutouts in the Ultimate Bipe.
You really want more than torque than those provide for a plane that size, especially if your going to be powering it for some performance.
For the same price you can get the Hitec D645MW, or D625MW servos with the torque you need for a fast aerobatic plane like that. Especially if you're gonna go with more power than the model originally was speced for.

the A5040's are plenty for the bipe considering that the original design called for one 40 .oz servo in the center driving rods and belcranks to 4 ailerons. the A5040's are 60 .oz each .. one per two ailerons . i never questioned the strength of them only reliability
