Exclamation HELP!! Futaba T9CAP transmitter upgrade

Hello everyone, can someone please advice what I need to upgrade my Futabe T9CAP transmitter. I know it's an older radio, but it works just fine, just sitting in my garage. I want to get back into flying, now that I have more time. Are there any software updates, or any add-ons to my transmitter? Has anyone else done this to their radio?

thank you!!!

Louie

You can look around for a 2.4GHz module to give you that function, you can still fly on 72MHz at some fields, others require 2.4GHz. There is no firmware upgrade for your radio.

Rather than mess with and/or spend money on that radio, I'd suggest you do some research on the 2.4GHz radio sets. Even the inexpensive ones will do some amazing things. Huge radio threads over on the RCGroups radio forum, might want to go over there and explore a bit?

Here's a very cost effective way to move up to 2.4gHz.

These modules are fully FCC certified also, no worries about them being legal in the US.
