I am about to upgrade my old Futaba 9C for the Spektrum DX9. When I go to the spektrumrc website and open up the DX9 product page it says, "Due Early June 2019". Is there a new version of the DX9 coming out? If so, I will wait a few weeks to buy.

Funny thing is the image of the DX9 on that page that says it is due out in June, looks exactly like the DX9 that has been out for a few years.

If someone could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it.

Likely when an order is due in stock.

There has been nothing announced though with the DX18 and DX20 being discontinued, most of us expect a high end transmitter announced next, likely an IX-20, a touch screen android edition like the ix-12
