I just saw these servos listed on ebay. They advertise metal gears and 119 oz torque, very cheap price. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with them. This is the company website.

Those are GWS servos. Never used'em myself, but I'm certain others here have.

Time to use the search function!

Oh, I didn't realize they were GWS servos, I have heard of them but never used them myself either.

[&:] I have one in the rudder and none metal gear gws's on my 120 stinger. They sound kinda sloppy. They work well and have been reliable. Only reason they are so cheap are because they are slower than pondwater!! But they do well for me.

Yea, I just realized what the speed was compared to the Hitec 605s I am using now.

I have them in my DP Extra. 2 S06 MG in the ailerons, and all the rest S04 bb 113oz/in torque. I run them on 6v to speed them up, they feel like standard servos on a 4.8v pack at this speed, but for the money I'm impressed. Futaba servo arms work with these. I was concerned with centering at first, but once I hooked them up and tried them, they center pretty good. They are standard size all around except just hair taller than a normal servo.
