Royal Evo Scanner Compatibility
Hi I'm in the UK and imported my 35Mhz Evo with scanner from Germany, and the synth came with 35Mhz bands A&B so channels 55 to 90 and then another set of channels 80 to 90 (or similar).
Now I'd like the scanner, but will a UK supplied scanner work, or do I have to import one from Germany again?
If the UK one does work, will this also have bands A&B?
Do UK supplied synths come with bands A&B?
Thanks!

RE: Royal Evo Scanner Compatibility
It's a little quirk of the Evo synth that even in the UK Mpx supplies the same synth module that generates the Germany-only Band B frequencies. I guess it saves them from making two different synth modules. However you won't get a B-band Rx crystal in the UK.

RE: Royal Evo Scanner Compatibility
Thanks Harry, if it's the same synth module, then it should be the same scanner module too, so sourcing that bit from the UK shouldn't be a problem. Now to phone and see who has one in stock...
