need radio advice
After many years outside this fun hobby I bought an Aerobird a couple months ago. Having a blast and just bought another 'real' electric flight 4 channel needed airplane. My question is this...I want to purchase a mid price computer type radio for use in this and other (electric) planes I will be purchasing in the future. I want it to be either a 4 or 5 channel system. I read my manuals in the bathroom (admit it some of you do too) and don't want to spend long days and nights reading a 285 page manual. I appreciate and value any suggestions.

RE: need radio advice
What kind of on-board equippment do you own? If it's Futaba or Hitec, look into the HiTec Flash 4 and 5X or Futaba 6EXA or 6XAS. All the afore mentioned radios will function with HiTEc and/or Futaba receivers.
Or, if you use JR or Airtronics flight packs, JR makes several good lower-end transmitters in the 5 and 6 channel range. 421 and 631 I believe.
Basically, buy what is compatible with you current flight packs and YOU find most appealling, not what everyone else is flying.
