Default HAL Autopilot experience

I've been trying to find out about the above autopilot, but can't really find anything that's in English. Has anyone got any experience of these ? - I was thinking of fitting one to my Dad's plane, as he's still learning, and it may give him a bit more confidence.

Also, I know it levels the roll axis (ie. via ailerons), but does it also operate the elevators to maintain a completely level attitude ? - I appreciate that it can only do this providing sufficient airspeed.

How does this work - I've seen other more expensive models that have a light sensor so work out the correct attitude, but this seems too cheap ?

Cheers
