Default Servo- junk or is it me?

I've been putzing around some small stuff for a change, and built a Herr P51 Mustang and powered it with a Magnum .15 and flew the snot out of it. (What a great little airplane) But I kept using up servos. The Hitec HS55, the little blue . . . thing. They just stop working. Has anyone else had history with this little blue piece of . . . . thing? No help with warrenty either.

Are you isolating them from the engine vibration at all? That'll kill servos quick if you don't.

That's to much airplane for those little servos... You'll need some more robust, like the HS-81 or HS-85's.

I agree with mglavin - you're pushing them too hard. Go up a size and they should last a long time.

Yep, they're good for electric.

Thanks to all- I was afraid you'd all say that. I used the 81s on the control surfaces, the 55s were on the throttle.

For the throttle?? The 55 should have plenty for the throttle. I revert to my original question, were you isolating it from the engine vibration at all?
