Default Radio Charger Question

I have two of the Futaba chargers that are sold with the radio sets. I also have one TX and three sets of RX batteries. Can I change the terminal on one of the TX charge leads to fit the RX battery packs? Is the output the same on both leads? That way I can charge the TX and RX batteries all once over night.

Default RE: Radio Charger Question

Your charger shows that the Tx output is 9.6 volts and 50mah. The Rx output is 4.8 volts and 50mah. I don't think putting twice the voltage on a 4.8 volt pack will be good for it... However, the 50mah charge rate is correct... I wonder if you can put a resister in the Tx lead to lower the voltage?

Thanks Galen. I guess I should have checked he label first. DUH! It may just as easy to buy another wall charger instead of trying to engineer the one I have now.
