Default Cleaning Tx?

The sticks on my Futaba 8uafs are begining to stick. Is there any type of oil I can spray on them that wont hurt the electronics?

I wouldnt spray any oil based compound on a stick assembly. It will be better if you stripped it down and used a stiff brush to get the larger bits out, a soft brush and some dry air spray.

Occasionally I use a spray cleaner from RS Componens BUT I make sure it goes nowhere near the electronics. Then I dry it off with paper towels.

I would try calling Futaba Service for what type of cleaning or oil solution to use. If you use the wrong type by accident, you may end up turning your transmitter into trash.

Thanks. I just wiped it down. Works like new again.
