Default Tower wiring woes.

I have a few new old-stock Tower servos that are wired red-black-white. I would like to use them with my Hitec reciever. The connectors fit fine but the Hitec servos are wired black-red-yellow. Can anyone tell me which wire goes where. I don't think it is safe to trust the fact that the connectors fit that the wiring is the same. I assume there is a ground, power, and signal? Sorry I love engines, building, and flying but the radio equipment has been a means to an end for me.

Thanks in advance, Cliff

Ground (Black) is towards the outside of the receiver. Red (Power) is in the center. White (Signal) is towards the inside.

Yep, in my 45+ years trying to outwit electrons, I have come to the conclusion that it really doesn't matter what color the insulation is for current to flow through the wire.

Correct - but the circuits connected to the wires can get pretty miffed.
