Default I'm getting bad glitching

Hello all. I have a problem that I don't know how to fix. Today, when I went to fly my GW Sport, my motor started to glitch extremely badly. When I brought the plane around and landed, the glitching was extremly bad, even with the tx antenna extended and standing about 10 feet away. My plane's using a micro Cirrus MRX-4 rx, with the proper micro crystal. I took off the wing, and started playing with the rx to see what would happen when I changed things around.
The first thing I noticed was what happens when I push the rx against the fuse side. Remember that this is a parkflyer, and the rx is double-sided taped to the fuselage side (as shown in the picture). Well, my antenna goes from the end of the rx, to in between the fuse and rx, and then back, next to a servo, and then out the top. I noticed that when I squeeze the rx to the fuse side, the glitching stops and all is normal. Could perhaps a circuit inside need proper pressing to make contact? Or could the antenna need squeezing? I'm completely baffled by this....nothing like this has ever happened to me before. Thanks, Andrew

Default RE: I'm getting bad glitching

It is possible that there is a cold solder joint or an intermittant connection of some part within the receiver so that when you press on it, the component makes good connection.

You may want to send the receiver back to Cirrus with a good writeup of the problem you were experiencing and how pressing on the receiver would momentarily "fix" the problem. If you value your plane, you should not fly with this receiver until it is fixed.

Good Luck!
