Default 9C TX Battery

I am getting ready to order a 9c and just wanted to know how long the stock TX pack is lasting before needing a recharge. I generally only fly for 1-3hrs not all day. I was going to just get a nimh pack from radical rc but figured Id check with eveyone first..

I was getting several 10min flights, but did get the 1650 Nimh from Radical. Now it's like the Energizer bunny rabbit, it just goes and goes.

An all day affair at the field will leave my 9C in the 9.6 to 9.8v range.

You will love the radio!!!!

Mine will runa bout 2.5 hours before dying. So probably one and a half hours flight time.

Although I never ran the TX down to the low battery warning, I wanted some extra capacity just in case I forgot to charge it etc. I also got the 1650mah from www.radicalrc.com and love it.

Mike
I just purchased one of the 1650 mah batteries from Radicalrc.
I am using the Sirius Pro Charger also.
Question. How high (to what voltage) do yours charge to ?. Mine is at 11.9 volts
and still charging. I am getting a little neverous about plugging this much voltage
into the radio transmitter .
Thanks
Roger

Mike,

I'll e-mail you.

Roger,

To be honest, I don't watch the voltage. When I put it in my 9C, it's probably around 11.6 or so. Maybe 11.9. I'll check next time. I plug it into my Alpha on it's C/10 charge function and let it go.
