Do Futaba servos work with other brands of radios, such as J&R? Are the different servos "standardized" in the way they plug into recievers, or do you have to have a Futaba radio, servos, & receiver in order to work together?

Yup! They just don't work with OLD Airtronics equipment because the wiring of the plug is different.
