Considering changing from DS8411's to HS-5945/5975, or 8611's?
I'm finishing up my CA 27% Extra for which I bought 5 JR DS8411's (ailerons, rudder, elevator) a while back because everybody was talking about the problems with Hitec digi servos and how fantastic the DS8411's are. Well well well, now I'm reading all this talk about how the DS8411's develop slop after 50+ odd flights and how Hitec has really come around on the high-end Digi servos, so I'm wondering if I should change my servo choice now, before I start to use them, plus the DS8611's are out. So, comparing the 8611's and the 8411's stats wise they're both more torque then I need (except maybe in the rudder?) which makes me think I don't really need to sell out and by 8611's, the extra cost and weight isn't necessary for a 27% plane it right? How bout the HS-5945's then, I even already have one NIB I got in a trade? Are there any problems with the 5945's, I did a search here on '5945 probems' and came up with essentially nill. They're lighter and faster then the 8411's and provide the same amount of torque... And what about the HS-5975's, is 91/109oz of torque enough for the ailerons and (2)elevator servos for a 27% plane, will the resin gear-train strip and I should stick with metal gears? Plus I get to program my servos.... There may be 6 DS8411's for sale here real soon.
Thanks for any comments.

I went with the Hitec 5945's on my 87" Laser 200. It's still under construction so I can't report on in-flight performance. For the price the 5945's just cannot be beat. The 5945's, 8411's, 8611's...no matter which you choose they are all overkill on a 27% aerobat...but when you move up to that 33% they can move up with you!

True, I guess what I'm really watching is the HS-5975's, so many reports of breakage with the 8mm screws, if the 10mm screws are really the solution then I'll grab some up.
