Default Convert Servo Ends from Hitec/JR to Futaba

Hi,

I need some info on how to change the ends on a hitec 81MG servo. I plan on using a new Futaba J End so I am needing to know what wires go where.

Currently in order with the window facing up, I have Yellow, Red, Black.

I assume with the Futaba end with the window facing up I would wire it to be Yellow, Red, Black?

The only reason I am double checking this is I read a couple post's about switching the red and the black wire on the end to make it compatable when going from futaba to JR or hitec.

Thanks guys,
John

Match the red and black, those are power.

I have Hitec servo with a JR connector and use it with Futaba equipment. No problem. Just ensure the polarity is correct when you plug it in - i.e. match red and black.

Wires are in the same order on both. Really though, no need to replace the ends. The JR/Hitec fits fine in Futaba equipment.
