Default Not another SERVO!!!!!!!!!

I have built a large readio controlled hovercraft with a 25cc engine and a large rudder, i have flown it twice and have broken my Futaba s3003 steering servo. Can you sergest another suitable servo that is roughly the same size and weight as my current futaba, but that provides much more torque and power.

I need to get hovering ASAP cause the snow is comming!!!!!

You could try a Hitec 605 MG (metal gear) . THe 3003 is not a strong servo at all . There are many heavy duty servos to choose from but the 605 is a strong servo , very close in size and the cost is reasonable.
Good Luck

Be careful! I believe the Hitec 605 is not compatible with PCM RX's, but is fine with FM RX's

Frankflyboy1, there is absolutely no difference between servos used in PPM or PCM. A servo that works with one will work with the other.

Frank, where did you hear that.
I can say that this is not true because I have a plane that had 6 605 servos and a R148DP (PCM) receiver.

Another good Servo is the Hitec 625, Hitec 645, or if you wanted High torque digitals, the Hitec 5625 and 5645.

Towers Hobby lists the torque and speed specs on all the Hitec or Futaba servos.

I would stay away from the 605's, they have been discontinued by Hitec and Tower has recently depleted stock and discontinued as well.

I bought 2 of these recently before tower Discontinued, They are crap! and will not center correctly. I have read some threads where poeple claim good results but also a lot of people with the centering problem.
