Default dual futaba pcm recievers

is there a minimium distance the recievers need to be placed apart or is it ok to have them next to each other in a redundant setup?

I have seen them mounted back-to-back with just foam between them; however, assuming one of your goals is to minimize both getting hit by the same interference or damaged in some type of incident, most modelers keep them as far apart as possible. In fact, I've seen more and more modelers mounting htem out in the wing panels of their giant scale gas birds.
