JR 662 Throttle Cut
I just received a new xp662 and I am a little surprised at how the throttle cut works. I thought I would use this for landing the plane but I found out that as soon as I release the button, the throttle servo returns to the previous idle position. Is this normal? Also, I thought the throttle cut would close the servo regardless of the throttle trim setting, but I found out that the throttle trim cannot be set at -40 like the manual says. Rather, it must be set much higher (around zero) to get any significant movement. Is my radio working normally? Thanks for any help on this.

RE: JR 662 Throttle Cut
It sounds as if it is working correctly. The purpose of the throttle cut function is to return the throttle trim all the way back to kill the engine on the ground, without changing the throttle trim. When you release the button, it will return to normal operation, and it will only move the servo as far as you have the trim set.
