Default 9ZAP switch change

My D/R elevator and rudder switches are getting worn on my 9Z. How big a deal is it to change them myself?
I have never had the back off this radio and am just fishing for warnings or advice.
Before you say "send it in" it ain't gonna happen now, the weather is just getting nice

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Default Try amc

Since she left the yahoo board there doesn't seem to be much activity these days, but she will steer you in the right direction. I can give you the address for it though if interested. There is a slew of tinkering engineer types that make the 9Z sing. Try these links to get you to the people that can help. Take care_bob

Default 9ZAP switch change

hiya bob! thanks for the nice words!

changing switches in a 9Z is not for the faint of heart...respectfully, if you have to ask you probably don't want to open that case... :-)

Thanks again bob! In case anyone isn't aware, there are 2 new futaba email lists on the yahoo sites... [email protected], moderated by me, and [email protected] moderated by the same great chap who runs the 9Z list.

Default switch change

Mike,

I haven't done switches but did change out my springs with the stiffer ones. My fun meter was not "pegged" during this procedure. The most difficult part was getting all the pieces back together and where to store the leftover parts
