Make sure you get the 10mm screws for them and they're great. I run one on the rudder of my laser 3D and still haven't put the 10mil screw in. Running the stock 8 and have had no problems.

RE: Hitec 475 servos
PJ I think it really depends on the plane size, speed, control surface size and last how hard you fly it. I have broken 2 of these 475 in the same plane the last resulted in a crash but I would not blame the 475 or hitec I feel I chose the wrong servo for my Type plane and how I fly, (pilot error) my plane was a 540 Lanier edge at 13lbs with a 160 os, large control surfaces I feel I overstressed the 475 gear train, both servos broke the same gear.

I am also looking at those 475 HB servos. I am going to put them in a 60 size Extra. I think that I read on Hitec's website that they have replaced all of those shorter screws and they are offering free replacement to anyone who has the effected Hitec servo.

I think the servos will have the strength ok for the Topflight Spit with with my .91 Saito. Just wondering about the quality?

They'll be more then enough on that TF Spitfire. Not much stress on the control surfaces.
They'll be plenty on the Funtana. I have a similar aircraft and only use 425BBs on the ailerons. You might check into 225MGs though. Just a suggestion.
RCBozo, have they finally started shipping with the 10mils? Cool. All you have to do is e-mail their customer support and tell them how many Karbonites you have, they'll ship them uberfast. Got mine within the week.

RE: Hitec 475 servos
475s are more then you really need on a plane like that. 225s are about half the weight and still put out something like 67 ounces of torque (at 6v of course). I'd definately put one on the rudder though.
