Default Lowes TX cases

Better get your Lowes TX cases while you can. I was in a Lowes a few days ago, and the were on clearance for $18. I didnt get to ask if they were being discontinued, but usually when something is on clearance it is.

Default Ordered one

I ordered one today for $18.00 from Lowe's Website. It is called a "Guardforce", and the item # is 24981. Thanks for the tip!

Indeed, what a find. I have two of them also. I'm thinking of getting a third, just for grins. When I went in to get my second one there was a young man restocking some of the other tool boxes. When he saw me going for one of the aluminum cases, he commented "Those things are selling like hotcakes". I just grinned and said "Yep, real bargain".

Yeh, the day I bought my first one, the Lowes was having a grand opening. Couldnt find the cases anywhere, so one of the employees helped me find it. I told him to remember where they were cause he would have alot of people asking for them, while we were standing talking with the case in my hand, 3 people asked where they were. They look almost excactly like the alum case tower sells for $50. The lowes case is a little bigger, and has a few more features. Much better value. I also am thinking about getting 1 or 2 more.

I just returned from Lowes, had to get some house stuff. They have lowered the price on the TX cases to $18.99 from $24.99. What a steal.

I got one about an hour ago for $18.00 + $1.31 tax. Great buy and they had 10 left. I've already made one cutout for the first transmitter. I cut a rectangle all the way through the perforations then cut a rectangle from 1" foam to insert for the back of the transmitter.

I just went and bought three of these cases. I have looked at many tool box/tool attaches for use as transmitter cases and these are by far the best I have seen. And of course they are an absolute steal at just $18.00. These cases will make excellent camera, video camera, or pistol cases as well. I think I'll easily find uses for the extra two that I bought.

If you can still find one it's worth the effort to get one.

Cheers!

I picked up two today. What a great deal. Thanks for the tip.
What makes me sick though is a couple of people already have the balls to post them for sale in the radio section here for double what they paid. I wanted to post the link to this thread but decided not to. Don't want to make enemies.

I had thought of buying some to sell, but then I thought I would just do a good deed and pass it on to everyone to enjoy...Maybe they will read this thread first. I dont know how they can sell them for twice the amount, when they will go back off sale at $24.95. They are not discontinued, Starfleet used to sell them, the owner said they put them on sale every year at about this time. There is too big of a demand to discontinue them, at least I think so.
