Default 9C-Airbrake Stuck on Switch C?

I'd really like to move the airbrake to switch G - it's much easier to get to than C.
On the Futaba FAQ and the posts I've searched here, it looks like the airbrake cannot be re-assigned to any other switch. Is this correct?

If not, how is it re-assigned?

Thanks in advance...

Unfortunately it is stuck on C. Which is my rate switch. Thus I don't use airbrakes

I bet you can do a programmable mix to set up airbrakes and assign it to switch G.......

Sure but that eats up mixes that you might want somewhere else...

Default RE: 9C-Airbrake Stuck on Switch C?

Thanks for the info. I decided to try and set-up flaps on the left side slider (VRD) and spoilerons on the right slider (VRE). This works, but has WAY too much throw, as the flaps are pegged when the switch is about halfway down. I'd like to reduce the throw on this switch so that the flaps are just fully extended when the switch bottoms out, to avoid possibility of inadvertently stalling the servos in flight. On the Futaba FAQ, it says to do this by adjusting the mechanics (servo arm, horn linkage adjustments). If I do that, I lose available throw that I will want when I set up the flaps as inboard ailerons.

How would one reduce the throw on the slider on the left in this situation?

Any help/insights is appreciated.

1. Use your EPAs and/or mix controls to reduce the throw percentage.

2. Reduce your flap trim percentage.

The built-in airbrake/CROW mix is permanently fixed to switch C. This is one of the very few complaints I have about the 9C. It works just fine for me on switch C, but I just don't understand why Futaba engineers would hardcode it like that. Almost everything else is assignable.
