7C vs 6102
I know there are individual threads on these two systems, but can anyone give a reasonable comparison of the Futaba 7C and JR 6102 radios? I'm looking to step up from my 4 channel Futaba and I really don't think I need anything quite as potent as a 9C (my flying doesn't require such a complex radio, and my wallet doesn't either). But a 6 or 7 channel computer radio seems right up my alley. No brand-bashing, please, I'm just looking for an objective comparison...
Thanks in advance!

RE: 7C vs 6102
While I can't offer a feature-by-feature comparison, I have looked at both and both are really cool radios (so you know the 6102 is cool 'cause I'm anti-JR). I think the 7C is a tad better though in programming ease and flexibility.
What do you have now? If you have positive shift stuff, get the 6102. If you have negative, get the 7C.

RE: 7C vs 6102
From owning a 6102 and playing around with the 7C at the lhs:
6102
+ 8 char model naming
+ 1 extra mix
+ Digital trim tones vary according to direction, with center indicator on LCD
+ Graphic LCD is actually put to good use and programming is easier
+ case ergonomics for small-mid sized hand
+ short sticks are standard, great for majority of thumb flyers (can be adjust up of course)
+ rachetless throttle conversion kit included
- less switches to choose from
- one less channel
- no countdown timer
[7C[/B]
+ one extra channel
+ VR knob
+ Countdown timer
+ better value for the money, esp with the digital servo package
+ more switches to choose from
+ case ergonomics for larger hands
- 6 char model naming
- Graphic LCD not put to good use
