Default How do I identify Futaba RX Low vx High

This question may have been answered many times, BUT I have (2) FP-R127DF receivers. I understand that they are tuned to be either low (up to 35) or above. One of them has a round channel 24 sticker on the side. (Nautrally I assume it is a low band Rx.) The other has no sticker. Is there anyother way to tell which band it is. Such as can I try, say a 55 crystal in it, and then a 24 crystal. Will there be any noticeable difference?

Thanks.

Norm

Without the identification on the receiver there is no way to tell.

This is something I received from Futaba Japan on another receiver, but it might apply to your too:

"If you see red mark on the coil, this is Hi-Band.
The coil is next to the crystal-socket.
If you do not see red mark, it is Low-Band."

The "coil" is an inductor coil component and it looks like a small metal can.
