Default JR 8103 gimbal stick tension

Does any one out there know about a different spring for better gimbal stick tension on the JR 8103. Mine is about 4 years old and I want the stick tension to be tighter. I have already adjusted the tension but it still is not to my liking. Someone told me there is a spring that the pattern guys use , I think it was an spring from a 9 channel single stick radio that JR used to make, I called JR and they did not have a part number. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Jack.

We have some stiffer springs available, however we do not sell JR repair parts due to liability reasons. You can send the radio system in and have the springs changed.

They're just springs, take one out and bring it to a hardware store and see if you can find anything that's close enough to the same size and stiffer.
