Default Replacement servo

Just bought a plane that the old style Futaba servos and I need to replace the servos with the new Futaba servos . In particular, I need to replace a flap servo which is Futaba FP-S6 with a similar servo that has the new connectors. The FP-S6 servo is about 7/8" deep below the mounting flange. This is for a Great Planes Cherokee 40 (1990 verson), sort of a classic that has never been completed. Any ideas would be appriciated
