precisely matching two 5934 servo's movement possible?
Hi,
I am setting up the elevators (2 halves, each driven by one 5945) for my WH edge540. Seems the movement of the two servos are not perfectly in sync: one is always moving fast/more at the one end of the travel, and the other servo does the same on the other end of the travel.
I wonder if two arbitrary 5945 servos can be made to move in perfect sync, and how?
I am using futaba 8u radio.

I asked Mike at Hitec about this when the programmer appeared. His answer was the end points and centering could be matched but not the curve. I assume he means that only the end points and the centering can be matched.

The servos are likely not the problem.
The frame rate for slaved channels of the 8U is a bit slower than we'd like. With the faster servos of today it's more notable.
Are your control arms and the like all identical in length?
Endpoints are nearly the same? Have the servos been re-programmed?
Try switching the servo leads at the channel outputs of the RX. Note if the problems stays with the channel output on the servo.
What voltages are running, 6.0V is preferred with the digitals.

I am running 6V and the length of arms and control horns are equal.
One thing I noticed is that two servos do not match on neutral point. Because I want to use the 140% full ATV, rematch one of the neutral point with the other is not an option.
I'll try to bring the servos to a Hitec sponsored hobby shop and reprogram the servos. Will let you guys know the result.
Seems Hitech is doing some good thing by offering the service.

If they're on different channels they'll never match, there's a few ms's delay between when one channel gets it's signal and when the next channel gets it. You'll need to use a Y connector and match the servo's with the programmer, or use a matchbox.
