Default The reliability factor- a study from Europe

Hello

Drawn from a recent poll from 364 rc -modellers from 12 countries, mainly
from Germany, Switzerland and Austria . The study sample was 733 transmitters
from 12 manufacturers, mainly from the big three:
Graupner/JR, Multiplex and Robbe/Futaba.

Some results here:

the reliability of the transmitter - all models:
best Robbe/Futaba : c. 11 % of the users have had malfunction/ defects
Multiplex : 12 % "
Graupner/JR : over 14 % "

From Robbe/Futaba :
the best model is FC-28 : c. 6 % of the users have had malfunction/ defects
FF3/6/8/9 : 9 % "

Comments: FC-28/ (and 9 Zap ) is a top-quality transmitter , although the
software is not up-to-date anymore

From Multiplex :
the best model is mc-10XX/ mc-20xx : c. 4 % of the users have had defects
Profi mc-4000 : 9 % "
Profi mc- 3030: 10 % "
Royal Evo : 15 % "
Profi mc-3010 : 22% "

Comments: Profi mc-3030 the middle-age is 14 years old - usually the
right stick gimbal wears out and the back-up battery for the
software is renewed
Royal Evo: Software 1a-class( super), mechanically
only just average

From Graupner / JR :
The best model is MC-18 c. 7,5 % of the users have had defects
MC-22 12 % "
MC-24 24 % "

Comments : MC- 24: F. ex. some total crashes of the software -
with a message " Error XX" -- after reset everything OK
- other software problems in MC-24

Hmm. makes you think : Is the mechanical quality generally better with
Futaba and JR compared to smaller german
manufacturers ?

Doesn´t help me to hear some stick- wiring problems with a under 1 year-
old Royal Evo ! []

Please Evo users, be open now - is the wiring -problem common with you ?
FF9 VS RE9 ??
I would like to take EvoFutaba -- MPX-software with Futaba mechanics and
manufacturing quality !
