Default multiplex radios ?

I saw what I think was a good deal on a multiplex cockpit radio but was wondering do other servos like futaba, hitec etc. plug into there receiver ?

Multiplex makes rcvrs for two types of plugs, their own design and the UNI-plug, which is the same.
Here in the US they only sell their systems with the UNI plug, so your Hitec or Futaba servos will work.
I use a MPX TX and RX myself, and the majority of my servos are Hitec.

I use mostly Hitec and JR receivers with my Cockpit Trans--I also had a switch installed that allows me to also use my Futaba receivers. I enjoy trying a large varity of servos also--they all work except the old Airtronics

I am not schooled on the "technospeak" but it will transmit on the band used by JR, Airtronics, and --then-- with the switch installed you can switch to the band used by Futaba, Hitec. I know there are experts out there that will explain it much better than I can--so I will let them---

Futaba and Aitronics use negative frequency shift, whereas Multiplex, JR, and Hitec use positive shift. So normally, a Futaba or Airtronics receiver would not work with a Multiplex TX. The before mentioned switch is an upgrade installed by the Multiplex service center here in the US, and allows the user to select between positive and negative shift.

All servos will work fine--it is just that the older Airtronics servos are wired differently--the new ones will work along with Hitec, Futaba,JR, etc...
