Default Multiplex

I am sure this has been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it easily so I am asking here.

Can you use Futaba receivers with the Multiplex EVO radios?

I am considering the radio, but don't want to replace my existing receivers.

The short answer is 'Yes'.

However, if you live in the USA where you have positive and negative shift receivers then the answer is slightly different. It currently supports positive shift with negative shift being available in the next sftware update. There is a version of software available however that does cover both shifts which a third party has made available in the interim. Have a look at the 'HUGE' threads on this radio at [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=135]RCGroups[/link] for all the info you are likely to need.

I have an Evo 9 synthesised with the scanner module and just love this radio. The good news for me is that the synthesised receivers have now just become available over here in the UK.

Cheers,
Tony

Many of us in the US have gotten ahold of the version of software that DOES have the shift select feature in it. However, it is model specific (9 channel or 12 channel). If you end up with a 12 channel EVO, contact me.
On the other hand, MPX is sometime soon? going to come out with an updated software version that will be freely available that will include the "official" shift select feature.
But if you need shift select NOW, and you have an EVO12, let me know.

Al,

From what I've seen and read about the tracker, its no better than the Futaba 9c that I am using now. (other than the shift and channel selectivity).

Just curious, always looking for a better mousetrap.
