Default engine induced rx interference

You may rest well assured that is NOT the OS that is causing the problem. You have metal to metal contact, or a wire or contact in a connector or switch that is making intermittant connection, somewhere in your system. When you start the engine, the vibration makes and breaks the connection.

I would examine for metal-to-metal; wiggle all connectors looking for twitching; replace the switch.
