Default 6XAS and Flapersons

I need to program flaperons on my new model, but am using a Hitec 555 which is a 5 channel reciever. The problem is that in order to use the flaperon function in my 6XAS, it wants me to use channels 1 and 6. Well, I don't have channel 6. Help anyone?

I'm not completely familiar with the 6X TX, but unless you have assignable free mixes you'll not be able to utilize the 5 channel RX for flaps...

I tried to mix ch5 on that Tx for same purpose. Was never successful. With a 6ch Rx it's a cake-walk. I don't think there's any other alternative for the flaperons unless you get a 6+ch. Rx. A 7ch Rx (towerhobbies, Futaba in disguise) can be had for $49 if you shop right.
This is not saying it's not possible to do, I just don't think it's probable, as I tried for more then a few hours already.

Thanks all,
I have indeed given up and have ordered a Hitec Electron 6 channel.
