I'm trying to convert my JR 8301 from mode-2 to mode-1. The goal is to have the master TX on mode-1 (8301) and the student on mode-2 (10X). I was thinking of switching the signal leads on the stick/trim pots. Would this work? Any ideas?

With the JR652, switching from mode 1 to mode 2 had to be done at JR. I don't know if this holds true with your radio. Call Horizon, they will let you know, and you know it will be factual.
