Default Futaba 3010 servos and ni-cads

I was shopping around the net for some new high tork servos and I noticed that the Futaba 3010's required ni-cad batterys (according to the vendor). I have never heard of such thing. Does this mean they wont work with nickle metal packs? I'm confused, I thought nickle metal was the way to go, almost everything I have has them in it. Maybe this is old info put on the site before NMH packs came out?

Thanks for your time.

Every one complains about this. You can use NIMh, many people do. I'd personally use Hitech 635's. Less slop.

Well that's what I thought. I couldn't see how it would matter. Thanks for your reply.
