Default Futaba 9Z or JR PCM 10X?

Ok, Currently I have an old Futaba conquest 6 channel with the receiver it came with, a mini receiver, and an ultra mini receiver. I'm using these in my GP Basic Light Trainer, and Sig wonder. I also have a JR X347 with 3 receivers. I'm using these in my Telemaster .40, my Contender .60, and my EP Ryan STA.

The thing is I want to get into 3D and aerobatic type flying and the X347 doesn't do ailavators<spelling?>. Plus I would like a radio that is a little newer than 12 years. The money is not really an issue, but I can't decide which one to buy. Please help.

Do a couple of searches you will find out more than you need. Myself I prefer the 9z.

Also, see what the locals are using so they can help you program if you need the instant help.

My vote is 10X!

No intend to change the object of the thread but
You said money is not an issue sure 9z and 10x are all great but you should also look into 9C, it is a good radio for the most of the stuff and very easy to program. Plus you will have $400-500 left for a new plane.

I agree, if you're just getting into 3D/aerobatics, the 9C will do everything you need it to do and then some. And as mentioned, you'll have 4-5 benjamins for that new plane or motor

Thanks for the response. I have been looking at this radio too. I just don't want to limit myself in the future. And I really like the idea of being able to switch channels at the field like with the 9z(if I'm using the 9z receiver that is). I did do a couple of serches after I posted this thread. I had never heard of the Multiplex. I have always like the quality of the Futaba as I have never had any problems with mine. How does the Multiplex compare?

Here is a quick link to a comparison of the 10X and 9Z I made a while go. I tried to keep it unbiased. In the end, I'd take either without any regrets.
