Default GWS pico rx help needed

I just bought a GWS Pico 4ch rx. The problem is that the mounting for the crystal is strange.

The crystal is a miniature one and is on relatively fine wires. When you plug it in, it only goes down part way. There is about 1/16" space between it and the mounting hardware. As such it wobbles, and looks awfully suceptable to any shock or vibration.

What would be the best fix for this?

Thanks! [&o]

Haven't tried this myself, but how about cutting a 1/16" thick piece of balsa or foam and sandwiching it in between the xtal and the mount? On my Rx, I put a piece of packing tape over the xtal to secure it in. That would give futher support to your xtal.
