Default Buddy Box for Hitec Eclipse 7 w/ FM rx

I've got a Hitec Eclipse 7 with a SuperSlim RX (FM receiver).
I'm looking for a buddy box to start training my dad to fly.
What is compatible?

I hear using Futaba buddy box, hitec cord, and a Hitec QPCM Rx works.
Will this setup work if I used the Futaba buddy box, hitec cord, and a Hitec FM Rx
I don't have any mixing setup for my Eclipse at the moment.

Hi,

Yes, a Futaba slave connected to a Hitec master with a Hitec buddy lead will work.
Check my website, chapter 3 for the Hitec paragraph and remarks.

Thank you very much.
I was curious because the first instructor I had couldn't use his buddy box with my hitec eclipse-7. He said that it had to do with my radio being digital. But I did tell him that I didn't set any mixing for it.

Hi Marks90004,

Below is a couple of sites with buddy cord wiring between different transmitters. I didn't check for your specific transmitter, but they may be of some help.

http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/
http://www.google.com/u/guelph?q=gad...ch=uoguelph.ca
You’ll have to cut and paste this one into the address field:

http://www.welwyn.demon.co.uk/buddy.htm

Hope this helps.
