Default crystals

As far as crystals are concerned, what do I need to get to match a dual rate transmitter and a dual rate receiver?

Do I need two dual rate crystals?

P.S. I am planning on getting a Laser 6 transmitter and an Electron 6 receiver

Default RE: crystals

There is no relationship between a dual rate, single rate or other transmitter and the type of crystal. In general, you need a dual conversion receiver crystal for a dual conversion receiver and a single conversion crystal for a single conversion receiver. The transmitter crystal is the same for either type of receiver. Dual rates are a function of the encoding system in the transmitter only and are independent on the types of crystals or type of modulation.
