Default JR PCM Failsafe question

I just installed my first PCM receiver and am at setting failsafe mode. On each channel I have the choice of Hold or preset Failsafe position. What is the best over all choice for the receiver to go into?, Hold? or Failsafe return to center?

I have the throttle set to Failsafe at just over idle. All others are set at Hold right now.
By the way this is a new JR 770S "S" PCM receiver.

Thanks
DEG

My advice, unless this is a trainer don't enable the failsafe mode. When flying PCM unless the interference is very severe you won't even notice interference. The last thing you want is your flight controls to lock-up when doing a three turn spin from an altitude of 200 feet.

Uh, sorry, but not possible! The only choice you get is HOW the RX responds when in failsafe - preset positions, or hold where they are. Disabling failsafe on a PCM RX is NOT possible!

Maybe we are miscommunicating. You have one of two options, manually set your controls or fly without the preset positions.

Thanks for the tips

This setup is for the 2 meter pattern ship in my avatar. So I cold be in any attitude and pointed in any direction when the glitch hits.

I will leave all channels but throttle set to hold and set the throttle to failsafe just above idle. I think I feel better with the throttle coming back to idle at least. It may make bigger pieces to pickup
