Default Determing frequency of older JR radio

I have a friend who has an older JR radio transmitor and he has forgotten which frequency it uses. It is a Max 4. There is no visible reference to a frequency anywhere on the radio. It does say that the transmitting frequency is 72 MHz and that the crystal is a fixed typle crystal. We want to order a new flight pack. How can I determine the frequency to order? Any thoughts to help me? Thanks.

Send it to Horizon with an explaination. Tell them your problem and that you want to purchase a flight pack.
They will sell you the flight pack and check out your TX. The fee for checking the TX will be nominal, and it
needs to be done anyway. later daveo
