Default PCM 9X = MX 22 ??

Hi guys,
is it there someone who can explain me if the JR PCM 9X have the same features than the Graupner MX 22, as I can buy a PCM 9 X on East Asia at very competitive price despite the very expensive MX 22 here in Europe (especially here in Italy..). I need it only for airplanes and gliders.

Thanks.

They share the same case but the software and capabilities are quite different. The MX22 is a 12 channel radio and has Graupner specified software instead of standard JR software.

The MX-22 is a 12 channel radio. Visit www.graupner.de and check it for yourself.

Amongst the information on the site is:
"PPM 24. New PPM multi-servo transmission mode for simultaneous transmission of up to 12 servos using the DS 24 FM S receiver. "
"Receivers. For PPM-(FM) Type DS 24 FM No. of plug-in servos 12 "

"can be expanded from 6 to 10 (PPM 24: 12) control functions; "

"Transmission system SPCM 20 / PCM 20 / PPM 18 / PPM 24 "

"Control functions, max. SPCM 20 = 10, PCM 20 = 10, PPM 18 = 9, PPM 24 = 12"

http://www.modelflight.com.au/rc_mod...upner_mx22.htm
"In summary the MX22 is a transmitter capable of handling the programming tasks of extremely complex models of up to twelve channels "

http://www.modelflight.com.au/rc_model_reviews/mx22.pdf
"The MX22 is a 12 channel...."

"the PPM mode operates either up to nine or twelve channel FM PPM receivers as JR manufacture a twelve channel PPM receiver for Graupner."

"What Graupner has done is to take the JR PCM9X transmitter mechanicals and married it to their own software operating twelve channels."

I have to say that based on what I've read, the MX22 certain has a LOT of capability. I wish Horizon would just sell this variation of the 9X instead of whatever JR is going to eventually (whenever that is) come up with.

Horizon would not sell it as it is graupner's software that is in it. It has a lot more functionality. The menu is more extensive. And it is available for purchase.
