I've lost the rubber cover that seals the crystal on several rx's. Is there a source for replacements?

Hot Glue too. Liquid duct tape.

Duct tape, Hot Glue, Electrical tape or Scotch tape you just need to make sure the crystal does not vibrate out.

Hot Glue is good, because it's 'squishy' so it absorbs vibration.

Hot glue sounds like it will make a good seal, but how hard will it be to pull the crystal if needed?

Depends on how much you use. And the particular brand of glue will matter but I couldn't even begin to tell you what your choices are. I've never had problems removing it as long as you don't slather it on everywhere. A little dab'll do ya. I have no idea about fuel proofness either.

I would assume it would be best to use the low-temp variety in a low-temp gun. It's less likely to melt plastic from the Rx casing, and it peels off pretty easily too. As for fuel proofness - I don't think the Rx was very fuel proof before the rubber cap was lost. There's big gaps by the servo connectors.

Default RE: Crystal Cover

I have been trying to find some crystal covers too. No luck so far. I have contacted Futaba ( the part is not shown anywhere on their site ) If I get an answer I will post.
