Which Servo ismost reliable
This A.M I totalled my Tiger 2 due to a failed motor in a Fut 148 . Last year I destroyed a plane thru same problem . Unfortunately I haven't any idea on the time they had been used.
I want to change the vital servos .What make of sport servos should I get for best reliability.

RE: Which Servo ismost reliable
My experience (to many years to count) I have found the Futaba servos to be extremely reliable, especially the 148. I use many of them and some have literly hundreds if not thousands of hours on them. There are better servos, I agree, but dollar for dollar I'll take the 148's every time. I have one pair of 148 on the ailerons of a 1/4 scale bipe and they are going strong after 10 years. I did wear out the pots on a pair on aileron servos on another bipe but it had even more hours on it.

I agree, no matter what servo a guy uses there is a chance of failure. I have not read of one manufacturer being better than any other but I do know that a lot of guys at the competition level enjoy the high end JR. I am a die hard Futaba guy as well, as far as standard servos go the S148 is great!
